Terms of Service
Last updated: September 7, 2026
These Terms govern your use of eSIM Mongolia ("we," "us"), an independently operated service based in Mongolia, and your purchase of eSIM data plans through this website. By using this website or purchasing a plan, you agree to these Terms. You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to purchase from us.
1. What we sell
We sell prepaid mobile data eSIM plans for use in Mongolia, delivered digitally by email, bundled with a 30-day Trip Assistant — general travel information on connectivity, safety, and getting around. We are not a mobile network operator — data service is provided over a local Mongolian mobile network under agreement with our eSIM supplier. The Trip Assistant is general information only, not professional or emergency advice, and shouldn't be your only source for safety decisions.
2. Eligibility & device compatibility
You're responsible for confirming your device supports eSIM and isn't carrier-locked before purchasing — see our compatibility guide. We are not able to guarantee compatibility with every device or carrier configuration.
3. Orders & payment
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller, Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), which is the Merchant of Record for all orders on this site. Paddle handles payment processing, applicable tax collection, and appears as the merchant on your payment statement. By purchasing, you also agree to Paddle's own Buyer Terms and Conditions. For help with your order — including refunds — contact us directly at support@esimmongolia.io; see our Refund Policy for details.
4. Delivery
Your eSIM is delivered by email, typically within minutes of a successful payment. It's your responsibility to check your inbox — including spam/junk folders and any other tabs or filters your email provider applies — and contact support if it doesn't arrive.
5. Plan validity & activation
Installing your eSIM does not start your plan. Your plan's validity period begins when the eSIM first connects to a network in Mongolia. See our Refund Policy for what this means if your device turns out to be incompatible.
6. Network coverage
Coverage is provided by a single local Mongolian mobile network and varies by region — strong in Ulaanbaatar and provincial centers, variable in remote countryside. This is a characteristic of Mongolia's mobile network infrastructure, not specific to any single provider, and we do not guarantee signal in any specific location.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to resell, redistribute, or use the service for any unlawful purpose.
8. Support & refunds
See our Refund Policy for eligibility and process. Support is available by chat and at support@esimmongolia.io.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any issue with the service is limited to the amount you paid for the affected plan. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses — a missed connection, a disrupted trip — arising from network coverage, device compatibility, or a third-party provider's service, since those are outside our control. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law, or reduces the rights described in our Refund Policy.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Mongolia. This doesn't take away any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your own country, which always apply on top of this.
